The open-concept main living area features a chef’s kitchen, dining space, and a comfortable living room—ideal for gathering with family to cook, share meals, and unwind. Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Off the main living area, a spacious deck offers views of the lawn and the bay beyond. A blend of elegance and convenience, this home is part of a private association with access to two small beaches—one perfect for kayaking, the other ideal for swimming and lounging.

This island community continues to embrace its maritime roots, with a vibrant fishing and lobstering industry. It has also become a haven for artists who create fine sculptures, paintings, pottery, and mixed media works. Still relatively unspoiled and quiet, Georgetown offers a peaceful escape from everyday life with its stunning beaches, nature trails, and preserved lands.

Georgetown offers a few charming local spots worth visiting. The Georgetown Country Store is a favorite stop where you can grab a bite to eat and shop for essentials. Nearby, you’ll find the post office, town office, historical society (which offers local information), the town library, the fire station, and the well-known Georgetown Pottery Store, known for its beautiful handcrafted ceramics.

Another local gem is the Five Islands Farm Store, which carries a delightful selection of fresh produce, baked goods, groceries, gifts, and seasonal plants—perfect for stocking up or finding a unique souvenir.

Just 20 minutes from the cottage, Reid State Park is a breathtaking beach known for its natural beauty and dramatic shoreline. After a day in the sun, head to the wharf at Five Islands to enjoy dinner while watching local lobstermen haul in their daily catch. Often referred to as the “prettiest harbor in Maine,” Five Islands is one of the most picturesque spots on the coast.

The charming city of Bath is just 30 minutes away. Recognized as a “distinctive destination” by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, its downtown is lined with historic brick and granite buildings, home to locally owned restaurants, bakeries, bars, and shops. A simple stroll along the quiet, cozy side streets—where 100- to 200-year-old homes have been lovingly restored—is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Or, hop on Charlie, Bath’s beloved trolley, for a fun and easy tour of the town.

And just 40 minutes away, you'll find Bowdoin College in the neighboring town of Brunswick.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
